Spreading the teachings of The Urantia Book in Kampala!
This service project aims to spread the teachings of The Urantia Book and provide spiritual and social support to the local community in Kampala, Uganda.
Service Purpose:
We plan to continue hosting regular meetups, study groups, and service activities.
Service Demographic:
The local community in Uganda, mostly university students from Makerere university and others. Our major focus is on young adults and spiritual seekers.
Servers needed:
We welcome individuals who share our passion for spreading the teachings of The Urantia Book and serving the community. Roles include:
- Event organization
- Study group facilitation
- Outreach efforts
Service Update:
- As of July 2024, the gatherings continue on the 3rd Fridays each month. All are welcome to this English speaking study group.
- Meeting recordings archive
- Book distribution: 22 of the 36 books have been distributed.
Service Funding:
This is a scholarship fund for those in need of data rates to attend meetings virtually.
